Done is better than perfect

I have been struggling with my trinity of activities that is supposed to centre me for the rest of the day. I thought I didn’t need it any longer, but when I stopped, the times when i was feeling down became longer and waking up was feeling more difficult each day, not to mention sleeping at night.

To make success a habit, I have decided to lower the bar of success, so that I can jump over this bar easily, every day. There is no point of having a 6-foot bar for me to leap over if I don’t even bother stepping near the bar.

So this is what I have done instead now:

  • exercise: 30 seconds of plank, front and side
  • meditation: 5 minutes
  • journal: short paragraph on anything

I will provide a tracked progress by end of this month to see how well I’ve done.
