Not quite the fight I was expecting, but I’m currently In a 3-way dilemma in my language learning adventure. I do not think it’s actually efficient to learn 3 languages at the same time, but my kid wants to learn Japanese. I have been learning Korean for more than 3 months now. And I’ve started Thai which started to intrigue me because it’s quite different from the languages I’ve learnt so far. It seems like I’m just being greedy but not taking anything seriously. I think if any of the languages get a shot of succeeding, I need to focus until a certain threshold is reached. It seems the answer is clear. I have to take my Korean up a notch and truly try to speak it or at least be able to watch a movie without subtitles or understand a Korean song. That will be my next milestone:
watch a korean movie without English subtitles
