A few days ago, I was distracted while walking to the train station, only to realize that I was on the wrong platform. The security guard took one look at me and knew I was lost. He asked where did I want to go. I told him my station and he told me I just needed to take the lift that led me directly to the right platform. Had I not gone on the wrong platform, I would have never known this shortcut. Today, it’s my go-to route.
I feel there are many times that learning happens that way. Just like how I found out about the language learning app Drops. It was from a chanced encounter with a recruiter that I found out about this app. I’ve been a premium user ever since.
