What to do when you break your streak

I finally broke my streak in language learning. After 112 days straight, I forgot” to open the app for just 5 minutes. I manage to open many other apps e.g. Netflix, safari, WhatsApp…. but just not my Drops apps.

And this is not all, just like the classic dominoes effect, I have not run for 10 days too (I run normally at least twice a week). I have also not progressed my photography course. It has been 6 days since I have last written a post. Motivation is just low. Even lower than my down day.

So what’s going to happen?

I can tell you what happened. I just start. I started doing my 5 minutes language session again today. I got out of the house to get some exercise done in the form of Tai Chi. I wrote this post. I finished listening an audiobook called Net Work by Rob McClanaghan. So that’s the trick for a broken streak.

Just start another streak.
