No Nuts November day 12

For the month of November 2019, I jumped on the bandwagon of No Nuts November with a slight twist, no nuts at night which to me means no snacking on junk food at night. I’m NOT sad to say that I broke the streak on day 10 after my best run ever. I shall put it down to I deserve that cookie and Pringle’s”.

Why am I doing this? Apparently, I can get the following benefits.

  1. A dramatic surge in free testosterone and sex drive
  2. Increased ability to focus and cognitive endurance
  3. Getting roughly 50-100% more done

Not sure about 1 and 2, but I am certainly getting more done.

  • I have already finished reading 2 books by day 8.
  • I ran 4 times in a week, excluding the half-marathon run I did.
  • I started seenbox.es and have been posting every day since
  • I’m in week 3 of the UX course
  • I’m 778 words into my 1000 Korean words target
  • I’m on Day 7 of learning Thai with 38 words under my belt

Let’s see how it goes by the end of the month.
